There’s something fuzzy round the edges about felt. It may be the childhood memories, the cuddly toys or the unashamed pastels, but there’s no doubt that to create a warm and fuzzy feeling all of your own, felt is hip, happening and very versatile. There are loads of ways to be ingenious with this delightful fabric – and to set new trends while you’re about it. For flowers that won’t wilt on you, use felt for your posy, for the flower girls, for your headwear (from hats to garlands) or as chair or table decorations. We’ve seen felt used as confetti, on the invite, the menu, the place cards and as a corsage, as well as being glued onto a (previously plain) shoe or clutch bag for a look we really love. And while we’re on the subject of love (it is February, after all) try felt hearts – single, in pairs or in hundreds and thousands – in almost any way you can.
